Garages, fleets and landowners
Independent garages and tyre fitters across Glasgow, from the East End to Clydebank, often need regular uplifts. Fleet and plant operators may need collections from depots on the M8 and M74 corridors. Landowners and housing providers sometimes need tyres removed from cleared land or back courts.

Tyres found hidden in a skip can lead to the load being rejected or extra charges being applied, so it is always better to declare them up front. Every tyre collection is moved by a registered carrier with a waste transfer note, which you should keep for at least two years.

Can I put tyres in a skip in Glasgow?
No. Tyres are on the prohibited list for skips because they cannot be landfilled and need a separate recovery route. Keep them aside and our partners can collect them separately.
